Jill is a Licensed Professional Counselor – MHSP with more than 20 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families impacted by trauma, life transitions, and complex life circumstances. She is passionate about supporting those who have experienced adversity as they begin to heal and build greater stability in their lives.

Throughout her career, Jill has worked with survivors of sexual exploitation, trafficking, and interpersonal violence, as well as individuals navigating substance use recovery, foster care and adoption experiences, and periods of instability or homelessness. Much of her work has taken place in residential programs, community-based services, and crisis response settings, where she has supported individuals rebuilding their lives after profound adversity. These experiences have shaped a counseling style that is steady, relational, and deeply grounded in trauma-informed care.

Jill believes that meaningful healing happens within safe, respectful relationships. She strives to create a counseling space where clients can slow down, feel understood and supported, and begin reconnecting with their own voice and sense of identity as they move toward greater stability and resilience.

At this stage in her practice, Jill especially enjoys working with adult women navigating trauma recovery, relational challenges, anxiety, and life transitions. She also has a particular interest in supporting adult adoptees as they explore identity, belonging, and family dynamics.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. Jill draws from trauma-informed and relational approaches, along with evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and attachment-informed work. She values an integrative perspective that considers emotional, physical, and—when meaningful to the client—spiritual aspects of healing.

Jill respects the unique beliefs and values each client brings into the counseling space and seeks to create an environment where individuals feel free to explore their experiences in ways that are authentic and meaningful to them.

Jill earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor – MHSP in Tennessee. She is also a National Certified Counselor.

Outside of the counseling room, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and family, coffee with friends, reading, listening to music, being outdoors, and traveling somewhere new.

Clients often describe Jill as steady, compassionate, and easy to talk to. She creates a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin reconnecting with yourself—without pressure, judgment, or the need to have everything figured out. For those who desire it, she also offers faith-based counseling as part of the healing process.

Jill offers primarily in-person sessions, with telehealth options available.

If you’re ready for a space that is both supportive and grounded—where real healing work can begin—Jill would be honored to walk alongside you.
