A Dream for Healing
When I created Rise & Bloom Counseling, I wanted more than a therapy practice. I wanted a place where people feel seen, supported, and guided through life’s challenges. My vision was to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and hopeful. Healing does not need to feel out of reach.
Symbols of Strength and Growth
The name Rise & Bloom comes from two powerful symbols: the phoenix and the lotus. The phoenix shows us that even after loss or hardship, we can rise again — stronger and more resilient. The lotus reminds us that beauty and growth often emerge from difficult or messy places. Together, they reflect the heart of my practice.
“Your healing is as unique as your fingerprint.”
Honoring Your Unique Experience
In philosophy, the word qualia describes the personal way each of us experiences life. Qualia is not only about the present moment; it is also shaped by our memories and learned patterns. For example, one person may feel comforted by the smell of lavender, while another feels uneasy because of a past association.
Because of this, no two people experience pain, joy, or healing in the same way. At Rise & Bloom, I honor those differences. Your healing is not a formula. Instead, it is your story, your sensations, and your growth.
“Healing isn’t a formula. It’s your story, your sensations, your growth.”
My Approach to Therapy
Healing grows when we feel safe, understood, and supported. For that reason, I ground my work in trauma-informed care. I use integrative methods such as EMDR and somatic therapy to help clients process their experiences. These approaches respect both body and mind.
As a result, every session becomes more than just talking — it becomes an active step toward release, balance, and resilience. My goal is for each person who enters Rise & Bloom to leave feeling stronger and more empowered.
Rise & Bloom Counseling serves the seekers, the healers, and the ones who are tired of carrying life’s weight alone. Although the journey may feel overwhelming at times, you do not have to walk it by yourself.
“Rise again. Bloom fully. Begin anew.”
If you’re ready to begin your own rising and blooming, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
